I trained at Camberwell School of Art. I continue to paint, exhibit and sell paintings, and teach two days a week. In my work there is almost always an irrepressible sense of humour and love of colour lurking which often surprises me, being a miserable and curmudgeonly sort of person.

I spent several years living abroad and that has proved to be a huge influence on my work. Since Fluffy made his first appearance three years ago, elements of his anarchic life style seem to be creeping into my larger scale work.

I now live on the South Coast and I spent a couple of years being inspired by the industrial landscapes there which Fluffy finds exciting too.
